Radian was created to help with the development of challenging, technology-intensive, new products that require extensive R&D before achieving proof of concept.
Radian leverages the highly specialist skill set of its founder and principle Dr Graham Foster.
Graham is degree qualified in mechanical engineering and PhD qualified in bio-engineering. He has over 20 years industrial experience, the vast majority of it leading cutting edge R&D projects.
His experience encompasses successful projects in the fields of automotive engineering, consumer products, renewable energy and medical devices. His full professional profile can be viewed on LinkedIn.
Graham also has track record of developing commercially valuable IP – he is the inventor of 17 patented inventions (17 separate patent families) in the fields of blood pumps, wave energy, automotive engineering & consumer products. All of these patents have been commercialised or are currently the basis of live development projects.
Graham’s academic achievements also comprise of scientific book chapters, several journal publications, scientific posters and conference presentations.
Based on the experience of its founder, Radian has established a bespoke product development process that focus on the steps from concept inception through to concept proof. This process is tailored for each new project, and ensures the development is carried out in a free thinking yet structured way that tackles the key challenges first.
Its easy to stifle R&D with the wrong systems – Radian knows how to avoid this.
